Origami Designs
The mounting of Origami cranes to form a design on a velvet board was developed by Frame Masters over 20 years ago. We blended the folding of 1001 cranes which represented “good luck and patience” and made it more permanent by having it framed instead of just hanging it on a branch at people’s weddings or birthdays.
Choose from the hundreds of designs already completed or give us a picture or sketch of what you have in mind. Our designer/mounter will see if what you what can be done with cranes or make suggestions of what can be done.
The cost of the mounting includes the arrangement of the cranes to form the design of your choice, and your choice of the color of the background velvet. Our mounter will use his best discretion in creating your design.
Prices will vary according to the complexity of your design. All folded cranes should be submitted at least 2 to 6 months prior to the event to ensure on-time completion,
We recommend that you use 3×3 inch foil paper or smaller and fold your cranes as precisely as possible with a minimum of white showing.
